Inputs, outputs, limits
Inputs. Post text pasted directly into a chapter, or an EPUB upload if your posts are already packaged as one. Your own music and sound-effect files. A cloned voice.
Outputs. One audio file per chapter, downloadable individually. MP3 export and a share link from the Podcast Editor. Generated audio is stored in your account on paid plans, and you hold full copyright on the files.
Limits — the ones worth knowing before you start:
- No URL or RSS import. There is no field for a blog URL and no feed sync. Text arrives by paste or by EPUB upload, one post per chapter.
- The AI drafting step works from news, not from your blog. AudioProducer's podcast generation feature drafts an outline and script from recent headlines on a topic you query. Your blog post is already written, so it goes into the editor as your own script rather than through that drafting step.
- No hosting and no distribution. The tool renders and stores the audio. It does not host your RSS feed and does not submit anything to Spotify or Apple — that stays with whatever podcast host you choose.
- Very long episodes may be split into parts during generation and export.
- Unused words do not roll over to the next billing period.
Steps
- Create a project and add each post as a chapter — paste the text, or upload an EPUB if the posts are already packaged.
- Run Auto-Assign Characters. The narrator and any quoted speakers get tagged; correct any line the pass gets wrong directly in the editor.
- Assign voices from the library or a clone of your own, and attach an emotion to individual lines where the delivery matters.
- Run Auto-Assign Sounds, or place music and effects yourself, and set the default paragraph pause for the pacing you want.
- Configure the episode intro — title, author, an optional uploaded intro sound, and custom intro text if the default reading is not what you want.
- Generate the audio, download the chapter file, and upload it to the podcast host that runs your feed.

The free plan is 1,200 words per month with no credit card. Paid plans start at $39.99 per month for 7,000 words and run to $199.99 per month for 100,000 words. The word allowance is what varies between tiers; the editor, the automatic markup and the voice library are on every plan. Unused words do not carry into the next month.
